The flying hand nailed it

Our release campaign for the release of the Push typeface just scooped a Bronze ‘Nail’ at the highly coveted German Art Directors Club (ADC) Award.

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to bring a font to market. And we are always looking at how we can break the mold when it comes to creating eye-catching campaigns for each new release. Over the years, we have been lucky to partner with an array of amazing agencies who have helped bring our fonts to life with visuals, films and beautiful specimens.

So we were over the moon to hear that our campaign by Rocket & Wink for the release of Christine Gertsch’s Push typeface just scooped a Bronze ‘Nail’ at the highly coveted German Art Directors Club (ADC) Award.

The one and only Hamburg-based agency immediately understood the essence of Push and created an attention-grabbing and highly engaging film that pushes the limits and stretches the imagination. A huge shoutout and thank you to Mr. Rocket, Mr. Wink and everybody else involved in this project! Our bronze nail now sits proudly alongside the one that Neue DIN won.

Incidentally, the incredible custom font project ‘FC Sans Pauli’ (in the person of our designer Christoph Koeberlin) and Solomiya magazine (which features Nice Collection) were two representatives of Fontwerk on the Grand Prix stage. Congratulations also go to the teams behind these great projects!
