he D&AD Awards are one of the most prestigious and revered benchmarks for creative excellence in design. Held annually, they are seen as a gold standard in the industry and we are delighted that Ika was shortlisted in the Type Design category.
Hot on the heels of making the D&AD shortlist, Ika has also been commended in the ADC Annual Awards under the Typography category and was awarded a ‘Merit’. Part of The One Club for Creativity, the ADC Annual Awards is the world’s oldest continuously running industry awards show and this year marks their 100th year. The ADC awards celebrate the great and the good across all creative industries from illustration to fashion design, from product design to typography.
Last but by no means least, Ika was also shortlisted in the Modern Cyrillic 2021 Awards. Organized by Paratype, it is an international type design competition that recognizes the best Cyrillic typefaces in the business.
