Last September, we talked about the creation and design of a new logo for the well established pet supplies brand, Trixie.
Following the logo redesign, Trixie turned to us again to create a custom lettering for their new, revitalized brand value “Friends for Life”. We worked closely with them to bring warmth and familiarity to the brand and to make it more appealing to its customer base. After a number of different iterations, Trixie settled on a digitized brush marker style that adds individuality and emotion to the brand.
As Head of Marketing Claudia Menzel, says, “In Fontwerk, we have found a partner who has provided us with very individual advice and suitable solutions depending on the job. The cooperation was reliable and professional, but most of all, a lot of fun”.
It was such a joy to work on this project with Trixie and we are so delighted with the results.

In 1925, the Director of the Kunsthalle Mannheim, Gustav F. Hartlaub curated an exhibition entitled “Neue Sachlichkeit” (New Objectivity). The term was coined to articulate the sober design trend that had begun to emerge in art, architecture and literature as a reaction to the ongoing political and social upheaval of the time. The term later became synonymous with the cultural awakening of the 1920s that reached far beyond art.
Fast forward to 2025 and the Kunsthalle Mannheim recently curated another exhibition which explored “Neue Sachlichkeit” and shines a spotlight on work that was otherwise overlooked 100 years ago.
As part of the exhibition a catalog was exclusively created by Berlin-based designer and typographer Verena Gerlach. Verena chose Daniel Perraudin’s West typeface, a reinterpretation of the geometric sans serif as one of the fonts of the publication, in combination with Moulin by Sandrine Nugue (Commercial Type).

The Prix 3466 was launched in 2021 and is the only annual prize that honors and recognizes a major work of European literature every year.
Selected styles from Christoph Koeberlin’s Pangea Family along with Mark Jamra’s Latienne typeface (TypeCulture) were chosen by the Turin-based creative agency Tundra Studio, which is responsible for the visual identity of the renowned literary prize.
The agency developed the logo, website and marketing materials and on their choice of font, Pia Panzarella said: “We chose Pangea because it has a modern, attractive design and because its concept corresponds to the overarching aim of the Le Grand Continent Literary Prize to “unite European narratives and promote international culture.”
Pangea also provides top-notch language support service, as the Prix Grand prize currently communicates in French, Italian, German, Spanish and Polish.
