Fonts in use: Neue DIN for the identity of one of the largest hot-dip galvanizing groups in Europe, Wiegel

To mark the hot-dip galvanizing group’s 75th anniversary, Wiegel’s identity was redesigned by the Nuremberg brand agency FYFF. No stone was left unturned. They also focused on clarity and character in the typography: Neue DIN became their corporate typeface.

The basis of the new BGZ logo is the semibold variant of Neue DIN XWide, which is also used as the corporate font. The capital G in the logo has been modified in such a way that it builds a bridge to its serif predecessor, which served the brand for over 100 years.
Neue DIN has been awarded yet another award (number 6 now!) and we are absolutely over the moon that it continues to gain recognition.
